Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryan Lindenmayer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Murray!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray fails in his attempt to clinch.

Murray shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lindenmayer is trying to defend but Murray finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lindenmayer tries to get to full guard but Murray has control of the leg.

Lindenmayer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Murray.


It looks like Josh Murray has been cut.
Lindenmayer plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lindenmayer tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Murray counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lindenmayer's guard now.
Murray is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Murray thows a big elbow that misses.

Murray throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lindenmayer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lindenmayer is looking to stand back up but Murray counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lindenmayer.

Murray decides to return to a standing position.
Murray pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lindenmayer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Murray rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lindenmayer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Murray shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Murray showed some decent athleticism there.
Murray seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Murray looks gassed!
Murray works his way into side control.
Murray controls the position from side control.

Check out the look on Murray's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Murray has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lindenmayer wants to clinch but Murray slips to the side

and Murray counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Murray works a leg free and moves into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Murray works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Murray is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lindenmayer has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lindenmayer!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Lindenmayer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Murray needs to keep his hands up - Lindenmayer had a free shot at his head there.
Lindenmayer misses with a two punch combination.
Lindenmayer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lindenmayer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Good exchange - Lindenmayer coming out on top.
Lindenmayer stuffs the takedown attempt from Murray. Murray gets slowly back to his feet.
No joy there for Lindenmayer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Murray drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Murray creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
You can see the frustration on Lindenmayer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Murray. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Murray landing strikes.
Murray content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Murray tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Josh Murray has got the better of the ground game so far.

Murray cracks Lindenmayer with a big right hand but Lindenmayer just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Lindenmayer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Murray has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Murray is putting a hurting on Lindenmayer here, landing some big shots from side control.

Murray decides to stand back up. Murray steps back and let's Lindenmayer get back to his feet.

Lindenmayer tries for a takedown but Murray circles away easily

and Murray counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lindenmayer!
Lindenmayer is trying to escape the mount.
Murray controlling the position easily from mount.

Murray looking to finish Lindenmayer with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lindenmayer!

Murray moves into the clinch.
Lindenmayer is working for takedown but Murray is calmly controlling the position for now.
Murray is trying to drag Lindenmayer to the mat but Lindenmayer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lindenmayer is trying to break free.
Murray tries to circle away but Lindenmayer has him pinned against the cage.
Lindenmayer wants to get back to striking at distance but Murray won't allow it.
Lindenmayer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Murray has clasped his hands together around Lindenmayer's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Murray happy to just control the position for now.
Lindenmayer is working to avoid the ground and pound but Murray connects with a decent elbow.
Murray takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lindenmayer defending against the ground and pound.
Murray sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lindenmayer is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Murray has control of an arm but Lindenmayer manages to advance to Murray's back!
Murray has Lindenmayer flattened out and is raining down punches.
Lindenmayer tries to break free.

Lindenmayer is trying to defend against the choke here but Murray has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Murray Tightens the hold and Lindenmayer taps out furiously! Murray displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
