Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kong scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Ippo Makounochi has been cut. Kong decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Makounochi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kong. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kong trying to mount his opponent but Makounochi defends it. Kong stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Kong moves in looking to clinch but Makounochi pushes him off. Kong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Makounochi pinned against the cage. Makounochi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Makounochi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Makounochi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice uppercut there from Makounochi. Kong shoots in and bounces Makounochi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kong wants to control from the top but Makounochi keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makounochi wants to stand and escape but Kong is having none of it. Kong gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kong takes a shot right to the bread basket. Kong looks gassed! Makounochi throws a jab when Kong was well out of range. Ippo Makounochi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kong tries to land a front kick but Makounochi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Makounochi throws a body punch but Kong moves out of range. Makounochi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kong is rocked! Makounochi throws an overhand right that has Kong reeling! Makounochi follows up with a more punches and Kong is out cold! This one is all over!
