Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Danza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dee comes into the arena with One Dimension blaring out of the sound system. Danza has chosen Who's the Boss as his entrance music. Tony Danza has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Dee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Danza! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danza takes a swing at Dee's ribcage but misses. Dee avoids the body shot from Danza.
Dee throws the kick towards the body but Danza avoids it. Dee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dee is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Danza doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dee. Danza is positioning himself well to prevent Dee advancing to mount. Danza wants to get back to his feet. That's one minute gone in the round. Dee thows a huge punch but Danza dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Danza throws a shot from downtown. Dee moves away and avoids it. Danza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dee pinned against the cage. Dee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dee doesn't succeed with the takedown and Danza counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dee thinking. Danza just misses with a punch to the body.
Danza takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Danza throws a body punch but Dee moves out of range. Danza misses with an uppercut. Dee throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Dee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Danza manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Danza looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Danza keeping full guard, as Dee tries to pass. Danza working for a triangle but Dee defends it easily.

Dee pushes down on Danza's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dee is working for a submission of some sort.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dee in particular looking to stall. Dee is trying to control the action in half guard but Danza is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dee seems to be working for a kimura but Danza defends the submission attempt. Dee trying to pass the guard but Danza defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dee is just content to waste time from the top position. Danza takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Dee looking to pass the guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Danza takes a swing at Dee's ribcage but misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Dee dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Danza is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dee rather than just go for the knockout. Nice sprawl there from Danza as Dee shoots in. Danza blocks the body kick.

Danza on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dee. Dee obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Dee content to control rather than advance. Danza is pressing down on Dee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Dee trying to control the position from guard on top but Danza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dee looking to sit in guard and control but Danza gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Danza drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dee!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danza is not content to let Dee control the position. Dee takes a little break here. Danza wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Dee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Danza keeps working. Dee looking to control but instead Danza has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dee seems to be working for a kimura but Danza defends the submission attempt. Dee works his way into side control. Dee taking a break here but Danza is having none of it and regains half guard. Danza is defending against the submission attempts here by Dee.

Dee is stalling here. Danza is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Dee seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Danza has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Danza tries for a kimura but Dee is defending well. Dee is trying to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dee keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Danza. Dee with a poor takedown and Danza counters with a shoot takedown. Dee fights it but they end up in guard. Danza must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Danza trying to control but Dee is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Danza wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Dee's closed guard. He's half up but Dee has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Dee pivots and extends the arm, Danza falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Dee! Well done that man!
