Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabio shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
May trying to control from the bottom.
May looking for subs from the bottom but Sabio mounts him!
May wants to hold on but Sabio pushes him away.
Sabio is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. May can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

May is rocked!
It looks like James May has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sabio goes for an armbar but he's not got it… May turns into him and now he's in Sabio's guard.
Oh May is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
May drops back looking for a leg! Sabio is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sabio manages to kick May off! May jumps back into Sabio's guard.
May throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
May seems to have got his legs back now.

Sabio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. May doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. May manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

May trying to control but Sabio is working from the bottom.
May wants to pass the guard but Sabio is keeping the position.
May trying to control the position from guard on top but Sabio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

May slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

May has hold of Sabio's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Sabio seems comfortable defending it but May has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Sabio is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Sabio is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but May couldn't care less - he's delighted!
