Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Urat Shahriar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and HOMEP CTO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Urat Shahriar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CTO tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
CTO shoots in for a takedown but Shahriar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Shahriar darts in trying to clinch
and CTO counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Shahriar's guard now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
CTO throws the left hand but Shahriar avoids the punch easily.

CTO throws a series of punches but Shahriar moves out of range.
CTO takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Shahriar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A low kick from CTO is predictable there
and Shahriar counters with a nice leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Shahriar is defended easily by CTO.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Urat Shahriar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Shahriar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but CTO paws at him with a jab and circles away.

CTO wants to work for an arm triangle but Shahriar is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
CTO looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
CTO thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Shahriar's head.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
CTO perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
CTO decides to stand and escape the position.
HOMEP CTO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
CTO lands a head kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
CTO has closed the distance and engaged Shahriar in a clinch.
CTO lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
CTO manages to pull guard.
CTO throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
CTO has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
CTO is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Shahriar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Shahriar won't allow CTO to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for CTO. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

CTO looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

HOMEP CTO showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Shahriar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

CTO gets in close and instigates a clinch.
CTO is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

CTO tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shahriar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten CTO somewhat.

Shahriar has hold of one of CTO's legs. CTO is fighting the takedown attempt but Shahriar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

CTO throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Shahriar connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fight stays on the outside here - CTO looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Shahriar shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in CTO's guard.

Shahriar is looking to work some ground and pound but CTO has wrist control.
Shahriar wants to control from the top but CTO keeps moving.
CTO looking for a guillotine here but Shahriar defends easily.

CTO working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shahriar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shahriar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Shahriar wants to control from the top but CTO keeps moving.

HOMEP CTO comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got CTO winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
