And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christian Willemoes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Willemoes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Willemoes misses with an uppercut. Cortez saw that one coming.
Willemoes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Willemoes throws a jab but it's blocked by Cortez.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Willemoes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cortez manages to avoid it.

Cortez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Willemoes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cortez is aware though and is defending well.

Cortez drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Cortez as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Willemoes screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Cortez! Nice submission victory there!
