Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cumin Getsum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kody Corley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corley has chosen Young Jeezy Ft. Akon-Soul Survivor as his entrance music. Kody Corley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cumin Getsum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kody Corley! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Eddie Farnsworth and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corley leaves Getsum with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Getsum closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Getsum is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Corley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. You can see the frustration on Corley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Corley might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Getsum kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Corley is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Corley is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Getsum is thwarting Corley's attempts to control the position. Corley is trying to stand up here but Getsum is controlling him well. Corley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Corley wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Getsum scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Corley is looking to regain half guard here but Getsum keeps moving and retains side control. Corley looks gassed! Getsum tries for a kimura but Corley is defending well. Corley holds on to Getsum's head and controls the position momentarily. Getsum looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Getsum thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Corley is looking to regain half guard here but Getsum keeps moving and retains side control. Getsum looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Getsum is trying to land an Americana. Corley tries to escape but Getsum is in control. Getsum is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Corley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Corley wants to get back to his feet but Getsum drags him back down. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cumin Getsum dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Corley throws a right hand that Getsum ducks under and follows up with a left that Getsum also avoids with ease. Getsum shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Corley trying to control but Getsum postures up.
Corley wants to get back to his feet.
Getsum is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Getsum is trying for a kimura here. Corley looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Getsum wins by kimura!
