Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Patrick Diccico! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, RIZZLA ! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Diccico as he avoids it easily. Diccico closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming to the mat! manages to get full guard. looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Diccico puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. tries to get to full guard but Diccico has control of the leg. looking for subs from the bottom but Diccico mounts him! wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. turns into Diccico and is now in his guard.
Diccico working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from . Diccico is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. tries to free his leg and advance position but Diccico is retaining full guard. has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Diccico manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now has Diccico in his guard. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diccico can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diccico has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Diccico stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Diccico has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Diccico is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, has escaped the position, nice work there. regains half guard. Diccico prevents from improving his position. Diccico is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Diccico. actively working from the bottom here.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from is defended easily by Diccico. Diccico displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from . Patrick Diccico has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of RIZZLA . The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. circles away from the clinch attempt and decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Diccico's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
RIZZLA showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Nice work there by Diccico! looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Diccico stands up and beckons to his feet. Diccico closes the distance but moves to the side and counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Diccico is pressed up against the ropes. has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Diccico down to the mat. Diccico avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Diccico swings and misses with a hook to the body.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Diccico was covering up waiting for the punch and finishes the takedown easily into guard. drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Diccico manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now has Diccico in his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! RIZZLA comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
