Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Seal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bud Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seal shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Seal's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Johnson throws a good cross that connects.
Seal has managed to clinch.
Johnson can't break the clinch.
Johnson throws a punch but it's blocked by Seal.
Johnson working hard to break the clinch.
Johnson looking to stall.
Johnson is persisting with his attempts to control the action in the clinch, rather than do any real damage.
Seal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Seal ducks right into an uppercut from Johnson.
A telegraphed right hand from Seal misses the target.
Johnson lands a left and a right that send Seal crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Seal is rocked!
Johnson cracks Seal with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Seal falls to his knees and Johnson doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bud Johnson!
