Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pernell Hoost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pernell Hoost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hoost sprawls well. Hoost wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet. Hoost throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Hoost stuffs the takedown. Sanchez checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sanchez. Pernell Hoost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Sanchez. Hoost walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sanchez checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez fails to land with a series of punches.
Hoost throws the kick towards the body but Sanchez avoids it. Hoost lands with a kick to the temple. Sanchez shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Hoost leaves Sanchez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pernell Hoost is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez dives in and grabs Hoost's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hoost pushes down on Sanchez's head and hops out. Sanchez has a takedown stuffed. Hoost stuffs the takedown attempt from Sanchez. Sanchez gets slowly back to his feet. Sanchez misses with a hook. Sanchez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sanchez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hoost sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sanchez somewhat. Sanchez looks gassed! Hoost throws a leg kick but Sanchez sees it coming and moves out of range. Hoost looks to land a body kick but Sanchez moved away. Hoost thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sanchez if he has to take too many more of those.
Hoost thumps Sanchez with a low kick. Hoost throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hoost throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sanchez's head. Hoost throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoost as he avoids it easily. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but Hoost shows good takedown defense. Hoost misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hoost. Sanchez shoots in for a double leg but Hoost sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hoost goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hoost lands a high kick!
Hoost feints and then cracks Sanchez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sanchez down. Sanchez takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hoost keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoost lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Sanchez steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hoost. That one must have hurt. Hoost throws a body kick that misses. Sanchez throws a nice looking combination but Hoost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sanchez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sanchez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Both fighters circling a little - Hoost finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Sanchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pernell Hoost dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A nice leg kick lands there from Hoost. Hoost throws a leg kick but Sanchez sees it coming and moves out of range. Sanchez tries to clinch there but Hoost circles away.

Hoost throws a front kick aimed at Sanchez's knee but Sanchez avoids it well. Sanchez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Hoost tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sanchez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Hoost really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sanchez blocks a head kick by Hoost.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sanchez darts in and clinches Hoost up against the cage. Hoost wants to get back to striking at distance but Sanchez won't allow it.

Hoost connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sanchez's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Hoost lands with a nice body kick. Hoost throws a quick inside leg kick.

Sanchez tries to clinch but Hoost is having none of it. Hoost stuffs the takedown. Hoost scores with a kick to the midsection. Hoost pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Sanchez is looking to clinch. Jimmy Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoost looks to land a body kick but Sanchez moved away. Sanchez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Sanchez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A slapping leg kick lands for Hoost.
Hoost connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Hoost counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Sanchez is lucky that one didn't land flush. A good leg kick by Hoost. A nice leg kick lands there from Hoost. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez. Sanchez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pernell Hoost dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Hoost dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sanchez. That did some damage! Sanchez moves out of range of the body kick from Hoost.
Hoost fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sanchez checks it well. Sanchez closes the distance and clinches up with Hoost, looking for a takedown. Sanchez pushes Hoost against the cage but Hoost circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sanchez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Hoost is trying to force a seperation but Sanchez has the dominant position. Sanchez jumps guard and drags Hoost to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Hoost has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sanchez is proving hard to escape from. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez controls Hoost momentarily but Hoost frees himself. Sanchez had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hoost is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sanchez Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hoost's back instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoost controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Sanchez scores with punches to the body. Sanchez trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Hoost trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Hoost defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Sanchez's arms.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hoost is trying to stand back up. Sanchez is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Hoost has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hoost prevents Sanchez from getting a body triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Sanchez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Hoost has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
