Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude Van Damme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janos Prohaska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janos Prohaska is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Claude Van Damme! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Janos Prohaska! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prohaska tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The fighters circling - Prohaska throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A decent looking body kick lands there for Van Damme. Van Damme is looking to clinch but Prohaska is avoiding it.
Van Damme connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Van Damme dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Prohaska. That did some damage! Van Damme pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Prohaska takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Nice shot by Van Damme. Van Damme rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Prohaska moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Van Damme tries for a takedown but Prohaska sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Van Damme misses the shot to the body. Van Damme looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Van Damme throws and low kick but Prohaska moves out of range easily. Prohaska moves out of range of the leg kick from Van Damme. Van Damme is looking to clinch but Prohaska is avoiding it.
Prohaska gets a takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Prohaska seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Prohaska keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Van Damme manages to escape and get back to his feet!
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Prohaska. Van Damme throws a front kick that sends Prohaska stumbling back into the cage. Van Damme throws a nice inside leg kick. Prohaska circles away from the clinch attempt.
Prohaska looks to land a combination but Van Damme avoids it well. Van Damme tries to clinch there but Prohaska circles away.
Jean Claude Van Damme is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Van Damme misses with a head kick.
A cross from Van Damme lands. Prohaska gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Van Damme. A big right from Van Damme misses. Prohaska feints and as Van Damme raises his hands in defense, Prohaska changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Prohaska looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Damme is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Prohaska is controlling him. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Prohaska is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. I looks like Prohaska might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Van Damme knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Prohaska on the ground. Van Damme doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Van Damme wants to get back to his feet but Prohaska is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Prohaska passes easily into side control. Nice work. Prohaska cracks Van Damme with an elbow. That is naaassty. Van Damme tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Prohaska lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Prohaska.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Prohaska.
Van Damme is trying to defend against the choke here but Prohaska has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Prohaska Tightens the hold and Van Damme taps out furiously! Prohaska displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Janos Prohaska!
