Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roman Sadlovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxim Gorgy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorgy has chosen Nostalgia as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Sadlovsky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Maxim Gorgy! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sadlovsky throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Gorgy tries to clinch but Sadlovsky moves out of range. Gorgy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Gorgy moves into the clinch. Sadlovsky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sadlovsky lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gorgy's sensitive parts. Roman Sadlovsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sadlovsky lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Sadlovsky delivers a nice body kick. Gorgy moves in looking to clinch but Sadlovsky pushes him off. Sadlovsky moves into the clinch. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Sadlovsky taking a breather. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Sadlovsky displaying some good clinch control by pressing Gorgy up against the cage. Sadlovsky scores with a shot to the side of Gorgy's head. Gorgy tries to stall but Sadlovsky uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Sadlovsky misses with an elbow over the top. Gorgy pushes off an throws an elbow but Sadlovsky leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sadlovsky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gorgy wants to clinch up but Sadlovsky keeps it at a distance. Sadlovsky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gorgy looks gassed! Sadlovsky has taken the fight to the clinch.

Sadlovsky closes the distance and pushes Gorgy back into the cage. Sadlovsky tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gorgy avoids it. Sadlovsky will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gorgy up against the cage. Sadlovsky prevents Gorgy from breaking the clinch. Sadlovsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sadlovsky gets a clinch. Gorgy tries to stall but Sadlovsky uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gorgy is trying to force a seperation but Sadlovsky has the dominant position. Sadlovsky lands a right hand that snaps the head of Gorgy backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorgy jumps guard but Sadlovsky stands there with Gorgy around his waist. Gorgy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Sadlovsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A chopping leg kick lands by Sadlovsky. Gorgy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sadlovsky. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sadlovsky clinches up against the cage. Sadlovsky throws a knee to the head but misses.
Sadlovsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sadlovsky, right into the meat.
Gorgy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Sadlovsky has Gorgy up against the cage in a clinch.
A bit of stalling here from Sadlovsky.
Sadlovsky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gorgy takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sadlovsky pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sadlovsky drives through and clinches with Gorgy against the cage.

Roman Sadlovsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxim Gorgy. Sadlovsky breaks the clinch.
Sadlovsky feints and as Gorgy raises his hands in defense, Sadlovsky changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sadlovsky gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Roman Sadlovsky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. An inside leg kick lands from Sadlovsky. Sadlovsky goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Gorgy is rocked! Sadlovsky lands a nice looking kick to the body. Gorgy takes a step back to recover. Gorgy is still on wobbly legs! Can Sadlovsky finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Sadlovsky throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Gorgy is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Roman Sadlovsky!
