Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Eatenbobby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Strudle!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strudle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Strudle scores with a nice head shot.
Strudle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Strudle is looking to clinch.
Strudle tries to close the distance and clinch but Eatenbobby swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Strudle darts in and clinches Eatenbobby up against the cage.
Strudle makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Strudle pulls guard successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strudle wants to sweep but no luck.

Strudle working for a triangle but Eatenbobby defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eatenbobby is stalling in the full guard.
Strudle controls Eatenbobby momentarily but Eatenbobby frees himself.
Eatenbobby wants to stand but Strudle is controlling his posture from full guard.

Strudle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Eatenbobby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strudle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Eatenbobby postures up and lands a big shot to Strudle's brow.

Strudle is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Eatenbobby defends well.

Eatenbobby looks to land a combination but Strudle avoids it well.

Strudle lands with a nice combination. Eatenbobby backs away looking to recover.

Strudle pushes Eatenbobby up against the cage in a clinch.

Strudle has hold of one of Eatenbobby's legs. Eatenbobby is fighting the takedown attempt but Strudle gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Jonathan Eatenbobby will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Eatenbobby throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Strudle lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Strudle shoots for a takedown but Eatenbobby saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Strudle shoots in but no luck this time.
Eatenbobby gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Strudle counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Strudle tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Strudle is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Eatenbobby.
Eatenbobby pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eatenbobby takes a swing at Strudle's ribcage but misses.

Strudle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Strudle showed some decent athleticism there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Strudle circles away from the clinch attempt.

Eatenbobby shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Eatenbobby was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Strudle is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Strudle wants to control but Eatenbobby is having none of it.
Eatenbobby controlling from the full mount.
Eatenbobby is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Strudle regains half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Eatenbobby connects with a nice short shot to Strudle's temple.
Strudle is pressing down on Eatenbobby's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Eatenbobby has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Eatenbobby tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strudle paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Strudle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A combination from Eatenbobby does no damage.
Eatenbobby slaps away a takedown attempt from Strudle, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Eatenbobby scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Eatenbobby scores with a jab to the head.
Eatenbobby moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Strudle, right into the meat.

Eatenbobby decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Strudle is looking for a sweep. Eatenbobby is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Strudle pushes Eatenbobby off and gets back to his feet.
Strudle takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Strudle shoots in for a double leg but Eatenbobby sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Eatenbobby is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Strudle.

Strudle closes the distance and pushes Eatenbobby back into the cage.
Eatenbobby wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Strudle has him pressed against the cage.

Strudle breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eatenbobby lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Strudle backs up against the cage.
Eatenbobby rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Strudle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Strudle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Eatenbobby!
Eatenbobby is squirming around, avoiding Strudle's attempts to control the action.

Strudle goes for an armbar but Eatenbobby turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Eatenbobby.
Eatenbobby stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strudle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Strudle wants to sweep here but Eatenbobby controlling him for the moment.
Strudle not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Strudle wants to get back to his feet but Eatenbobby passes into half guard.

Eatenbobby is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Strudle defends it well.

Strudle moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Eatenbobby prevents Strudle from getting back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Strudle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Eatenbobby is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Strudle is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Eatenbobby lands a couple of digs.
Eatenbobby thows a big elbow that misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Strudle closes the distance and clinches.
Strudle keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Eatenbobby's efforts to push away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jonathan Eatenbobby showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Eatenbobby has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
