Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Tripper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenta Kobashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tripper comes into the arena with TEAR AWAY blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenta Kobashi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobashi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tripper dips to his left and cracks Kobashi with an uppercut!
It looks like Kenta Kobashi has been cut.
Kobashi swinging wilding here.
Tripper keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kobashi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tripper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kobashi misses with the combination.
Kobashi doesn't manage to clinch there - Tripper circles away.
Tripper throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Kobashi tumbling to the canvas!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tripper passes Kobashi's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tripper is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Tripper lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Kobashi quite badly. Kobashi pulls Tripper in close trying to recover. Tripper postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Kobashi on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Kobashi doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Tripper!
