Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Gram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gram has chosen For Whom The Bell Tolls as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Rider! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Gram! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gram throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A head kick misses from Rider. Rider throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Gram misses with a straight right. Rider misses with a kick to the body.
Rider fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gram avoids it really well and circles away. Gram smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A head kick by Rider misses and Gram counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rider misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gram.
Rider shoots and misses and Gram counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rider has his takedown stuffed and Rider takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Rider. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gram looks to land a left hand but Rider moved out of range nicely. Gram takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A head kick misses from Rider. Rider bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rider misses with a jab to the body
and Gram connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Johnny Gram is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rider takes a kick to the side of the head. Rider shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gram as he avoids it easily. Gram throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Gram connects with the punch. Rider lands a high kick!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rider throws a head kick that misses and Gram counters with a one-two to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rider throws a right and a left that Gram avoids nicely. Rider takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Rider gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gram counters with a lovely shot to the body. Gram moves out of range of the body kick. Rider walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Gram takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rider misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No joy there for Gram, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Gram.
Rider shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Rider is looking for a kimura but Gram is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rider to get the leverage. Gram tries to roll over but Rider keeps him under control. Rider trying to advance position but Gram counters by regaining guard. Rider with a flurry of punches that miss. Rider trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gram throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rider content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Gram throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Rider has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rider missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gram tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rider postures up in Gram's guard and throws a big left but Gram blocks it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gram throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rider throws a leg kick and Gram counters with a stiff right hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Gram dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rider fails with the takedown. Rider doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gram counters with a stiff right hand. Rider throws a head kick that misses and Gram counters with a left and a right that stings Rider. Gram throws a series of punches but Rider moves out of range. Nice cross by Gram. Gram misses with an uppercut. Rider saw that one coming. A head kick by Rider misses and Gram counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rider is rocked! Gram lands a brutal uppercut that launches Rider off his feet! Rider tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
