Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tadakatsu Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honda kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tadakatsu Honda Theme. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira moves in looking to clinch but Honda pushes him off.
Honda keeps the fight on the outside.
Nogueira doesn't manage to clinch there - Honda circles away.
Honda shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Honda is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nogueira defends it well.
Honda looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Honda wants to work for an arm triangle but Nogueira is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Nogueira has a hand on Honda's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Honda takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Honda is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nogueira knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Nogueira avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Honda bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Nogueira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Honda wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Honda thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Nogueira is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Honda drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Honda seems to have locked his on tight now - Nogueira screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Honda, as he picks up the win!
