Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from ace.
Manaloto throws and low kick but ace moves out of range easily.
ace shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
ace is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
ace is thwarting Manaloto's attempts to control the position.
Manaloto is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because ace is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

ace with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
ace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Manaloto defends it nicely.
ace shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Manaloto's guard.

ace in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
ace stands and steps away. Manaloto gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
ace drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
ace advances to mount.
Manaloto wants to control but ace is having none of it.

ace lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
ace controlling the position easily from mount.
Manaloto is looking to improve his position but ace isn't that keen on the idea.
Manaloto is breathing heavily.
ace working away from the top, dropping strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Manaloto has his takedown stuffed
and ace moves into the clinch.
ace drops down looking for an ankle pick but Manaloto pulls his leg out and moves away.
ace lands a nice shot to the body.
ace misses with a takedown
and Manaloto counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in ace's guard now.
ace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
ace is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Manaloto defends well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

ace wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Manaloto's hips, looking to push off. But Manaloto grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! ace screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
