Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tangina Tarantado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Maldonado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maldonado has chosen Got urself a gun as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tarantado decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tarantado thows a huge punch but Maldonado dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Maldonado's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Tarantado tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
BOOM! Tarantado connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Maldonado is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Tarantado has hold of Maldonado's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Maldonado manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Tarantado gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

The fight stays on the outside here - Maldonado looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tarantado fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Maldonado, pushing him back against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tarantado has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Maldonado clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
