Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Paul Bear!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Biggy Plumper!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear throws out a loose jab but Plumper uses good head movement to avoid it.
Plumper is looking to clinch.
Plumper wants to clinch up but Bear keeps it at a distance.
Bear thows a left - swing and a miss!
Plumper slips a jab and a cross from Bear.
Plumper fails to land the takedown.

Plumper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Plumper goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bear rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Plumper's guard! Nice work there by Bear!

Plumper is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Plumper has a closed guard, preventing Bear from standing up.
Bear wants to control from the top but Plumper keeps moving.
Bear postures up.
Bear has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Plumper is proving hard to escape from.
Bear prevents Plumper from getting back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bear missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Plumper clinches up with Bear and pushes him back against the ropes.
Plumper misses with a punch on the inside.

Bear makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Bear's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A hook to the body from Plumper.
Bear blocks a body shot from Plumper.
Plumper lands with a short shot to the head.
Bear prevents the takedown attempt.
Bear gets through Plumper's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Plumper lands a shoulder strike.
Bear looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Plumper is working for takedown but Bear is calmly controlling the position for now.
Paul Bear has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Biggy Plumper.
Plumper looks gassed!
A nice left hand lands by Plumper.
Plumper tries to land knees in the clinch but Bear avoids the damage to the body.
Plumper is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Bear gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Bear breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Plumper shoots in but Bear avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Plumper ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bear throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Plumper on the side of the head.


It looks like Biggy Plumper has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Plumper fails with a takedown attempt.
Plumper throws a shot from downtown. Bear moves away and avoids it.

Bear cracks Plumper with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bear has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Plumper to stand back up!


Plumper is rocked!
Bear ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Plumper's jaw. Plumper's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Bear does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paul Bear!
