Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Saku Thirtynine!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thirtynine is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rand sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rand swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Thirtynine.
Rand lands a head shot.
Rand lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Thirtynine circles away quickly and effectively.
Thirtynine closes the distance and clinches up with Rand, looking for a takedown. Thirtynine pushes Rand against the cage but Rand circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rand cracks Thirtynine with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Saku Thirtynine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Danga de danga de dang - Rand scores with a four punch combination!
The fighters circle momentarily. Rand darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Thirtynine looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Daniel Rand has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Saku Thirtynine.
Rand bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rand connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rand scores with a jab to the jaw.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thirtynine is defended easily by Rand.
Rand blocks a head kick by Thirtynine.
Thirtynine on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rand lands a right hook to the body.
Thirtynine shoots in for a double leg but Rand sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Thirtynine looks gassed!
Thirtynine takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rand bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Thirtynine's head.

Thirtynine tries to clinch up but Rand circles away and keeps his distance.
Rand lands a jab to Thirtynine's midsection.
Thirtynine on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Rand works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Daniel Rand is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice takedown defense from Rand. No joy for Thirtynine on that attempt.
Thirtynine has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Thirtynine there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rand scores with a shot to the body.
A lazy left from Rand finds it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rand connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Thirtynine momentarily.
Rand connects with a right hand. Thirtynine shakes it off.
Rand feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Thirtynine sprawling to the canvas! Thirtynine rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rand finish him?!
Thirtynine is rocked!
Rand sends Thirtynine crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rand is motioning to the referee to let Thirtynine up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Thirtynine is still on wobbly legs! Can Rand finish him?
Rand finds Thirtynine's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Thirtynine flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Rand lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Thirtynine will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Rand!
