Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mai Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshikatsu Nakao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mai Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshikatsu Nakao! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakao shoots for a double leg takedown but Johnson sprawls well. He's pushed Nakao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Johnson slaps away a takedown attempt from Nakao, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mai Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshikatsu Nakao. Johnson tries to clinch but Nakao moves out of range. Johnson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nakao.
Johnson clinches up with Nakao and pushes him back against the cage. Johnson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nakao gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Johnson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nakao's efforts to push away.
Johnson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nakao can't fight it off and eventually Johnson manages to take the fight to the floor. Nakao looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Nakao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Johnson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nakao is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Johnson preventing the sweep. Nakao controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Nakao is keeping the position. Nakao wants to stand up but Johnson is controlling him.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Johnson drives through and clinches with Nakao against the cage.
Johnson is trying to trip Nakao. He has hold of a leg but Nakao is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Johnson persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Nakao is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nakao is striking but Johnson is not phased and passes to half guard. Nakao trying to control but Johnson postures up.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson lands with a punch from half guard. Johnson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nakao does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Johnson is figuring out what he wants to do next. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nakao tries to get to full guard but Johnson has control of the leg. Nakao keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nakao wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.
Johnson wants to advance to full mount but Nakao doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Johnson wants to pass the guard but Nakao is keeping the position.
Nakao pushes Johnson off and gets back to his feet.
Nakao looks gassed! Nakao throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson throws a lazy head kick and Nakao counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Johnson with a jab. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Mai Johnson dominated that round. That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Johnson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nakao counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Johnson! Johnson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Johnson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnson tries to get out of the position.
Johnson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Nakao. Johnson is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nakao cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Nakao tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nakao takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Johnson has given up his back here.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nakao controlling from the back. Johnson trying to control but not successfully. You can see the frustration on Johnson's face� He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Nakao controls the action. Nakao trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Johnson just trying to survive but Nakao is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Nakao is working for a guillotine from mount but Johnson frees his head quite easily.

Nakao is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Johnson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nakao controlling his opponent. Johnson tries to lock up and control but Nakao gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nakao putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nakao looking to control but Johnson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Johnson is trying desperately to improve position. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshikatsu Nakao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Nakao stands up. Nakao misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nakao gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nakao's guard. Nakao is trying to keep Johnson in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson stands up and waves to Nakao to follow him. Nakao should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Nakao takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Nakao closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nakao is trying to control the action in half guard but Johnson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Nakao content to control rather than advance. Johnson is trying to maintain the position but Nakao is very close to passing his half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakao scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Johnson trying to control from the bottom.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Nakao shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Johnson is trying to hold Nakao in close to prevent damage but Nakao has managed to pass into half guard.

Nakao pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Nakao moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Johnson has worked his arm free - good work by Johnson!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Yoshikatsu Nakao. I think Nakao has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
