Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Velasquez lands in his opponent's guard.
Couch trying to control the position.
Couch looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Velasquez looking to pass the guard.
Couch lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Velasquez!
Velasquez takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Couch looking for a guillotine from mount but Velasquez is having none of it.
Couch fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Couch avoids the attempt from Velasquez to control.
Velasquez is squirming around, avoiding Couch's attempts to control the action.
Couch stands up from mount. Strange move.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Velasquez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Couch sprawls well. Couch wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Velasquez gets slowly back to his feet.
Velasquez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Couch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Velasquez somewhat.
Velasquez looks gassed!
Velasquez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Couch to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Couch gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Couch darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Couch is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Couch is trying to work for a kimura but Velasquez is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Couch thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Velasquez's head.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Velasquez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Couch pulls his head out easily.
Couch is controlling the pace.
Velasquez is looking for a sweep. Couch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Couch gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Couch has managed to clinch.
Couch gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Velasquez regains guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Couch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Couch drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Couch as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Velasquez screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Couch! Nice submission victory there!
