3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roy Choker! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choker gets the takedown into side control. Choker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Choker goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lesnar rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Choker's guard! Nice work there by Lesnar! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Choker tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lesnar tries to stand but Choker is controlling from the bottom. Choker keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully. Lesnar gets to his feet. Choker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Choker tries for a takedown but Lesnar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Choker closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lesnar to the mat! Lesnar manages to get full guard. Choker looking to pass the guard. Choker postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Choker is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lesnar is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lesnar has escaped and now he's on top! Choker looks gassed! Lesnar looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lesnar is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Choker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Choker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lesnar tries to hold on but Choker postures up. Choker goes for an armbar but Lesnar turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lesnar. Choker working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lesnar. Lesnar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Choker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lesnar wants to control from the top but Choker keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Choker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lesnar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Choker looking for subs off his back but Lesnar has passed one foot through into half guard.
Choker is trying to get back to full guard. Choker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lesnar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lesnar's back! Lesnar fending off the submission attempt from Choker. Choker is persistently looking for the submission but Lesnar is defending it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Choker looking for the choke from the back. Choker has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lesnar has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Choker looking for the RNC. Lesnar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Choker on the ground. Choker sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Lesnar taps out!
