1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David HasselhON! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Python scores with a takedown into HasselhON's guard. Python throwing strikes but missing. Python cracks HasselhON with a solid left hand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Python wants to stand and escape but instead HasselhON has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Python will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Python trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. HasselhON tries to close the distance and clinch but Python swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. HasselhON throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Python's head. HasselhON attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Python avoids the head kick by HasselhON.

Python has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Python is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Python is posturing up here but HasselhON has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Python tries to roll out but it's too tight and Python has to tap! Slick submission there by HasselhON!
