Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Ridlle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Dennis Jorge has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dennis Jorge! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tom Ridlle! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jorge throws a nice looking combination but Ridlle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ridlle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jorge sprawls well. Jorge wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ridlle gets slowly back to his feet. Jorge moves in looking to clinch but Ridlle pushes him off. Jorge fails with the takedown and Ridlle counters with a shoot takedown. Jorge fights it but they end up in guard. Ridlle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jorge working a defensive guard here.
Jorge manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ridlle manages to get himself to full guard.
Jorge gets to his feet. Ridlle looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Ridlle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jorge but Jorge pushes him off and we're back to square one. No luck with that takedown attempt from Ridlle. Dennis Jorge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Ridlle. Ridlle closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jorge circles away. Ridlle looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jorge shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jorge tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ridlle controls his leg. Ridlle is not content to let Jorge control the position. Ridlle tries to get to full guard but Jorge has control of the leg. Ground and pound from Jorge. Jorge prevents Ridlle from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ridlle taking some punishment here, with Jorge in his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ridlle takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Jorge works the jab nicely. Jorge misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jorge with a poor takedown and Ridlle counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ridlle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ridlle trying to control but Jorge is working from the bottom. Jorge wants to stand but Ridlle is controlling the position. Ridlle stands and throws Jorge's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jorge is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ridlle has hold of Jorge's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jorge tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ridlle cranks the arm and Jorge screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jorge, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tom Ridlle!
