The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikkari throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Avent shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nikkari as he jumps to the side.
Avent is breathing heavily.
Nikkari lands a left and a right that send Avent crashing to the mat, dazed. Nikkari thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Phil Avent has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nikkari throws a head kick that misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for Nikkari.
Nikkari thumps Avent with a low kick.
A head kick by Nikkari - that's a beauty! Avent is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Nikkari can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
