Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Squetsie Doubleday! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Norris! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doubleday wants to clinch. Doubleday leaves Norris with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Norris wants to clinch. Norris displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Doubleday. Doubleday clinches. Doubleday breaks the clinch.
Doubleday has closed the distance and engaged Norris in a clinch.
Norris jumps guard but Doubleday stands there with Norris around his waist. Norris gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Doubleday tries to pull guard but Norris won't allow it.
Doubleday landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Norris has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Doubleday is stalling here.
Norris tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Doubleday smiles and moves away.
Squetsie Doubleday has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Norris. Norris shoots in for a takedown but Doubleday shows good takedown defense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doubleday tries to clinch and Norris holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Norris changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Doubleday fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Norris looks to land a body kick but Doubleday moved away. Doubleday lands a big head kick that sends Norris tumbling to the mat! Doubleday takes a step backwards and waves Norris back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Andy Norris has been cut. Doubleday shoots in but no luck this time. Doubleday clinches. Norris blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Doubleday lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Norris is looking to break free of the clinch but Doubleday has double underhooks. Norris jumps guard but Doubleday stands there with Norris around his waist. Norris gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Doubleday wants to break free but Norris has control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Norris stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Doubleday doesn't manage to clinch there - Norris circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doubleday looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Doubleday stuffs the takedown attempt from Norris. Norris gets slowly back to his feet. Doubleday drives through with a takedown into guard. Doubleday forces his way into half guard. Doubleday has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Norris defend it? Doubleday steps over the head and cranks it - Norris is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Doubleday!
