Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leandro Silviera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordi Tejedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leandro Silviera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jordi Tejedo! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silviera avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Silviera closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tejedo is trying to get back to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tejedo can do anything to dispel that myth. Silviera is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tejedo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Tejedo is looking to reverse the position. Tejedo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Silviera wants to control but Tejedo is keeping him busy. Tejedo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silviera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tejedo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silviera wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Tejedo looks to move to half guard but instead Silviera has passed into mount! Damn! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tejedo is looking to improve his position but Silviera isn't that keen on the idea. Silviera tries to control but Tejedo wriggling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silviera lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Silviera has control of Tejedo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tejedo regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Silviera can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tejedo is looking to escape. Tejedo working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silviera working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Tejedo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Silviera off and cradles Tejedo's limp body as Silviera celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Leandro Silviera!
