The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reaper throws a head kick that misses.
Reaper misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Reaper misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reaper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reaper stuffs the takedown.
Reaper throws a head kick but Cruz moves out of range.
Reaper tries to clinch but Cruz is having none of it.

It looks like Tofano Cruz has been cut.
Cruz is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Cruz seems to have recovered his senses.
Cruz is looking to regain half guard here but Reaper keeps moving and retains side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Reaper throws a right hand that Cruz ducks under and follows up with a left that Cruz also avoids with ease.
Reaper looks to land a combination. Cruz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Sean Reaper is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cruz fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Reaper sprawls well initially but Cruz persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Cruz is nestled in close to Reaper, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Cruz is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Cruz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cruz showed some decent athleticism there.

Sean Reaper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reaper lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Reaper Rushes Cruz and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Cruz is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Reaper Piles on the pressure and Cruz crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
