Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machado's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Entrance. Fernando Fernandes acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes looks to land a combination. Machado sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Machado tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fernandes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Fernandes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Machado with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fernandes connects with a nice short shot to Machado's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fernandes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Machado kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Well Fernandes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
