Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stan Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takumi Fujiwara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takumi Fujiwara!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh wants to clinch.

Marsh pushes Fujiwara away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Fujiwara gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fujiwara's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Marsh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Marsh is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fujiwara has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That has opened up Takumi Fujiwara's cut even more.

Fujiwara has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Marsh is trying to keep an underhook but Fujiwara manages to get the takedown into half guard.
