Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell Barker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker tries to clinch but Wilson is having none of it.

Wilson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Barker is just riding it out for now. Wilson eventually gives up the hold.

Wilson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Barker has him pressed against the cage.

Wilson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wilson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Barker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Wilson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barker defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wilson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Barker has picked Wilson up and slammed him! Wilson can't keep hold of the triangle and Barker manages to pass to side control!

James Wilson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
You can see the frustration on Wilson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wilson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

James Wilson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
