Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Galne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pointon Slavey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slavey moves in looking to clinch but Galne pushes him off.
Slavey cracks Galne with a good jab.
It looks like Eric Galne has been cut.
Slavey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Galne manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Slavey lands a couple of elbows.
Galne has a closed guard, preventing Slavey from standing up.
Galne keeping moving, preventing Slavey from controlling successfully.
Slavey wanted to stand there but Galne had control of the position.
Slavey won't allow Galne to get back to his feet.
Slavey stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Galne throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slavey's waist but Slavey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Galne off to one side.
Slavey slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Slavey drops Galne with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Galne looks back up at him and smiles so Slavey waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Galne drops his hands momentarily. Slavey doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Galne staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Galne doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pointon Slavey!
