Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Raider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Raider!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon lands the left hand.
Raider tries a head kick but it misses.
Dixon avoids the head kick by Raider.
Raider throws a right and a left that both miss.
Raider looks to land a combination but Dixon avoids it well.

Dixon feints and as Raider raises his hands in defense, Dixon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Raider kicks Dixon off and gets to his feet.
Raider looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Raider gets caught flat footed, as Dixon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dixon lands a couple of elbows.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dixon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Dixon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Dixon wants to control from the top but Raider keeps moving.

Raider looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dixon throwing strikes from guard but Raider blocks nicely.
Dixon is working Raider over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dixon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Dixon trying to control but Raider is working from the bottom.

Raider working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dixon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Raider is tightening it up a little... Dixon has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dixon reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dixon taps out! nice BJJ there by Raider!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Ricky Raider!
