Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Winters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Winters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Turner! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Turner shoots in for a takedown but Winters shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Winters throws a combination. Turner tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Turner closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Winters wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Winters working hard to break the clinch. Turner prevents Winters from breaking the clinch. Turner has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Winters is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Winters is trying to force a seperation but Turner has the dominant position. Winters is looking to break free of the clinch but Turner has double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Turner looking for a takedown. Richard Winters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Turner. Winters wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Turner keeps control of Winters as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Winters can't break the clinch.
Turner goes for a takedown attempt but Winters pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Winters throws an overhand right that lands on Turner's shoulder, as Turner tries to avoid the shot. Turner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Winters lands a nice looking body shot.
Winters throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Winters wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Turner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Winters circles away. Turner defending well as Winters loads up on a big left hand. Winters throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Winters misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Winters throws a jab but it's blocked by Turner. Turner fails to land the takedown. Winters throws a right and a left that both miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Turner displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Winters throws out the jab. Turner shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Turner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Turner postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Winters keeping full guard, as Turner tries to pass. Turner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Turner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Winters keeping moving, preventing Turner from controlling successfully. Turner passes into half guard.

Turner is working for a kimura but Winters is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Turner is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Danga de danga de dang - Winters scores with a four punch combination! Winters scores with a head kick.
Winters throws a nice looking combination but Turner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Winters misses with a kick to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard Winters dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Winters connects with the punch. Winters takes a swing at Turner's ribcage but misses. Richard Winters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner slips a jab from Winters. Turner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Winters pinned against the cage. Winters gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Turner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Winters's waist but Winters gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turner off to one side. Winters misses with a series of wild punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Winters lands a jab to Turner's midsection. Turner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Winters throws a right hand that Turner ducks under and follows up with a left that Turner also avoids with ease. Winters tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Turner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Winters is fending him off so far but Turner persists. Nope, Winters circles away and we're back to standing. Richard Winters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Turner. Winters closes the distance and lands a one-two. Winters throws a body punch but Turner moves out of range. Winters throws a combination. Turner tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Turner misses with a takedown attempt - Winters sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Turner misses with the body kick and Winters counters with a big head kick but Turner shrugs it off.

Winters throws a sloppy head kick and Turner moves out of range easily. Richard Winters is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Winters throws a right hand that Turner ducks under and follows up with a left that Turner also avoids with ease. Turner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Winters counter with a right hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that's the end of the fight! Richard Winters showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Winters, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
