Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andy Hug! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Dvorak! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hug is looking to clinch. Dvorak swats away the attempt to clinch by Hug. Dvorak tries for a takedown but Hug sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Hug tries to clinch but Dvorak is having none of it. Hug tries to clinch up but Dvorak circles away and keeps his distance. Dvorak shoots in for a double leg but Hug sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dvorak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hug as he jumps to the side. Andy Hug has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Dvorak.
