Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between jim crow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Traktor Chain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). crow comes to the cage accompanied by Audioslave- Cohise. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, jim crow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Traktor Chain! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by crow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Chain is on the wrong end of a nice combination from crow. Chain throws and low kick but crow moves out of range easily. Chain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chain avoids the head kick by crow.
A solid leg kick lands there for crow.

crow scores with a takedown into Chain's guard. crow drops back looking for a leg! Chain is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chain manages to kick crow off! crow jumps back into Chain's guard. crow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. crow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. crow is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. crow is looking to work some ground and pound but Chain has wrist control. crow content to stall in guard here. Chain keeping moving, preventing crow from controlling successfully. crow working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. crow stands and throws Chain's legs to the side, diving into side control. Chain takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. crow tries to move to mount but Chain blocks the move with his legs. Chain takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
crow goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Chain rolls with the submission and now he's on top in crow's guard! Nice work there by Chain! Chain throws a strike but crow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Chain uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Chain looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. crow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Chain is trying to defend but crow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Chain is trying to stand up here but crow is controlling him well. crow content to control rather than advance. Chain is looking to escape. crow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chain does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. crow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. crow is looking to take a break and control but Chain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. crow decides to stand up. Chain gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows crow to score an easy takedown into full guard. crow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and crow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
jim crow dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
crow gets the takedown into side control. crow cracks Chain with a big elbow. Chain wants to get back to his feet but crow drags him back down. crow is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chain knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. crow has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. crow wants to control but Chain is keeping him busy. Chain wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. crow stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chain keeps the fight on the outside. crow closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - crow lands in his opponent's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells crow's corner. There ya go! There ya go! crow trying to control the position from guard on top but Chain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. crow decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. crow takes the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. crow is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Chain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

crow decides to pull guard. jim crow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Chain got a little sloppy there for a moment and crow has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chain has managed to get both his arms back between crow's legs - danger averted. Chain stops crow from standing up. crow striking off his back but it's not causing Chain any problems.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chain tries to free his leg and advance position but crow is retaining full guard. Chain wants to control from the top but crow keeps moving. Chain trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

crow stalks Chain and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chain's face. Chain staggers backwards, shaken. crow clinches. crow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chain takes the fight into the clinch. crow tightens his grip and picks Chain up, before dumping him to the ground. Chain manages to land in guard. crow drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Chain dives on top into guard. Chain wants to pass the guard but crow is keeping the position. crow is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Chain has his hands clasped together but crow extends an breaks Chain's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by crow.
