Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alan Shepard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enae Volare Mezzo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fedor Lesnar is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Alan Shepard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Fedor Lesnar! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shepard sees it coming and avoids it easily. Shepard throws a right and a left that both miss. Shepard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shepard misses with a jab, cross combination.
No joy there for Shepard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shepard drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lesnar is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Shepard blocks the strikes from Lesnar.
Lesnar slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lesnar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Shepard!
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar working for a guillotine from mount but Shepard is in no mood to give up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shepard tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lesnar looking to finish with strikes here!
Lesnar throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Lesnar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lesnar looking to control but Shepard is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lesnar throws some wild stikes that Shepard manages to avoid easily.
Lesnar misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Lesnar looking to ground and pound but Shepard is blocking nicely. Shepard is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lesnar wants to control the pace but Shepard is squirming around nicely. Poor strikes thrown by Lesnar there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Shepard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shepard tries to get out of the position. Shepard suckers Lesnar into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Shepard is now in Lesnar's guard!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar controls Shepard momentarily but Shepard frees himself. Lesnar has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lesnar stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lesnar wants it to stay on the feet. Lesnar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lesnar lands in his opponent's guard. Lesnar looking to sit in guard and control but Shepard gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lesnar looking for a sweep. Not yet Lesnar, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lesnar throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lesnar looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lesnar looks gassed! Shepard stopping the sweep attempt from Lesnar. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Shepard sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Lesnar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Shepard misses with a takedown and Lesnar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt and Shepard counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lesnar's guard now. Lesnar has control of Shepard's left arm, preventing Shepard from doing any damage. Lesnar is trying to control the position but Shepard postures up. Shepard stopping the sweep attempt from Lesnar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lesnar seems keen to control Shepard's posture. Lesnar is trying to keep Shepard in close.
Lesnar has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Lesnar looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lesnar is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shepard circles away from the clinch attempt.
Shepard shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lesnar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Shepard tries to free his leg and advance position but Lesnar is retaining full guard. Lesnar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lesnar is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Shepard is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lesnar is breathing heavily. Lesnar had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Shepard is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lesnar Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Shepard's back instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar wants to control but Shepard is keeping busy. Shepard is really stuck here.

Shepard just trying to survive but Lesnar is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Shepard manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Lesnar is now in side control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lesnar showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Shepard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Shepard with a poor takedown and Lesnar counters with a stiff right hand. Lesnar tries to clinch up and Shepard counters with a one-two to the body. Shepard shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lesnar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lesnar looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Shepard puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Shepard dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Lesnar wants to sweep here but Shepard controlling him for the moment. Lesnar controls Shepard momentarily but Shepard frees himself. Lesnar has Shepard pulled in close to control his posture. Lesnar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Alan Shepard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lesnar is trying to hold Shepard in close to prevent damage but Shepard has managed to pass into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lesnar is trying to maintain the position but Shepard is very close to passing his half guard. Lesnar tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Lesnar trying to control here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lesnar fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lesnar misses with a takedown and Shepard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Shepard forces his way into half guard. Lesnar trying to get back to full guard but Shepard takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lesnar is trying to escape the mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Alan Shepard showed his dominance in that final round. I think Shepard has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
