Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Bean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bean has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! William McGregor could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joe Bean's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bean! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGregor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bean looks gassed! McGregor ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McGregor no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. McGregor wants to stand up but Bean is controlling him. McGregor trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! McGregor wants to stand but Bean is controlling the position. McGregor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McGregor throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McGregor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bean has time to react.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McGregor scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. McGregor connects with the punch. McGregor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bean paws at him with a jab and circles away. McGregor fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McGregor cracks Bean with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Bean is trying desperately to land a takedown but McGregor is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bean. McGregor doesn't manage to clinch there - Bean circles away.

William McGregor dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joe Bean's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bean feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Bean tries to free his leg and advance position but McGregor is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McGregor looking for a sweep. Not yet McGregor, not yet. Bean won't allow McGregor to get back to his feet. McGregor manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
McGregor trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bean's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Bean tries to reverse the position but McGregor maintains control.

McGregor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bean is looking to escape. Bean wants to hold on but McGregor pushes him away. McGregor lands with some strikes. McGregor is going olschool here, as he tries to force Bean to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bean shrugs it off. McGregor in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McGregor throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. McGregor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bean circles away quickly and effectively. Bean throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bean closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bean tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bean trying to control the action but McGregor is working from the bottom. McGregor is trying to escape and get back to his feet. A control attempt from McGregor but he's now mounted! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bean trying to control but he's not successful this time. McGregor squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Joe Bean showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Joe Bean's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Bean has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for McGregor. McGregor wants to control his opponent's hands but Bean gets his hands free. McGregor is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
