The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Rain.
Rain misses with a wild combination.
A solid body kick from Gianacopulos.
Rain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gianacopulos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
An inside leg kick lands from Gianacopulos.

Gianacopulos lands a big head kick that sends Rain tumbling to the mat! Gianacopulos takes a step backwards and waves Rain back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rain is rocked!

It looks like Aaron Rain has been cut.
Rain looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gianacopulos is looking to clinch.
Rain is still on wobbly legs! Can Gianacopulos finish him?
Rain tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gianacopulos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rain seems to have recovered his senses.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gianacopulos's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Gianacopulos connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rain's face.
Gianacopulos connects with a knee to the head.
Rain throws a punch but it's blocked by Gianacopulos.
Gianacopulos has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Rain - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Gianacopulos, and another! Rain is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
