PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tuski Fema (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stewie Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fema comes into the arena with Kanye West - Amazing blaring out of the sound system. Griffin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: The Ride. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tuski Fema!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stewie Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fema shoots in for a double leg but Griffin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Fema shoots in but Griffin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fema doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Griffin counters with a shoot takedown. Fema fights it but they end up in guard.
Griffin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Fema is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
