Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cyril O Reily!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Power!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Power tries to clinch but O Reily is having none of it.
Cyril O Reily seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Power feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Power postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
O Reily escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Power gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
O Reily seems keen to control Power's posture.
O Reily has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Power should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, O Reily has tightened it up now! Power should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
