Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jjjj Klf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Alexander Smith was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith rushes Klf and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Klf drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smith gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Smith makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Smith is pressed up against the cage. Klf has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smith down to the mat. Smith avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Smith not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Klf looking for a sweep. Not yet Klf, not yet.
Smith is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Klf striking off his back but it's not causing Smith any problems.

Smith fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Klf sprawls well initially but Smith persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Klf manages to get to full guard.

Klf is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Smith frees his head nicely. Oh but Klf has switched to an armbar! Smith is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
