Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Dunne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Kovth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Dunne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeremy Kovth! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Kovth, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dunne closes the distance and clinches. Kovth stops a takedown attempt from Dunne.
Kovth tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dunne smiles and moves away.
Dunne defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kovth. Kovth tries to clinch up but Dunne circles away and keeps his distance. Kovth avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kovth closes the distance looking to clinch and Dunne counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kovth! Kovth is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Dunne can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kovth is looking to escape. Dunne controlling his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kovth tries to lock up and control but Dunne gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kovth keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dunne has hold of Kovth's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kovth manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kovth sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dunne stands up out of the half guard. Kovth closes the distance and lands a one-two. Dunne fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dunne shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kovth pinned against the cage. Kovth gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Dunne. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dunne is breathing heavily. Kovth tries for a takedown but Dunne circles away easily and Dunne counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Dunne wants to pass the guard but Kovth is defending well. Dunne missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunne wants to take a breather but Kovth is having none of it. Dunne is just content to waste time from the top position. Kovth takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Dunne is looking to work some ground and pound but Kovth has wrist control. Kovth is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dunne stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kovth swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dunne stands up from Kovth's guard - Dunne perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dunne is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kovth's half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dunne missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kovth looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dunne seems to be working for a kimura but Kovth defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Dunne dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

David Dunne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The fight stays on the outside here - Dunne looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kovth rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dunne moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kovth defending well as Dunne loads up on a big left hand. Dunne closes the distance and clinches up with Kovth, looking for a takedown. Dunne pushes Kovth against the cage but Kovth circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dunne shoots in for a takedown but Kovth shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kovth fails with the takedown and Dunne decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kovth's guard. Dunne is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kovth is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kovth has escaped and now he's on top! Dunne wants to stand up but Kovth is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunne tries to land a sweep but no joy. Dunne keeping moving, preventing Kovth from controlling successfully. Kovth must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dunne is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kovth tries to get to full guard but Dunne has control of the leg. Dunne trying to control from half guard but Kovth is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dunne missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunne is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dunne looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dunne stalling away here and it's allowed Kovth to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dunne trying to control the position from guard on top but Kovth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dunne throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kovth moves in looking to clinch but Dunne pushes him off. Dunne walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kovth wants to clinch and Dunne counters with a shoot takedown. Kovth fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Dunne dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Dunne throws a big shot that misses. Dunne feints and as Kovth raises his hands in defense, Dunne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Dunne trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dunne pushes down on Kovth's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kovth wants to get back to full guard. Kovth wants to get back to full guard but Dunne has mounted him! Dunne controlling from mount. Dunne's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kovth is squirming around, avoiding Dunne's attempts to control the action. Dunne has control of Kovth's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kovth regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kovth has given up his back here. Will Dunne look for the submission or keep pounding away?
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dunne connects with a big shot to the side of Kovth's head.
Dunne has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kovth has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kovth rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Jeremy Kovth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kovth tries to get to full guard but Dunne has control of the leg. David Dunne overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dunne has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dunne with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dunne landing punches. BOOM! Dunne connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Dunne controlling the pace for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dunne goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kovth is on top in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! David Dunne showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dunne, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
