Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Myron Sores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Person (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sores has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Myron Sores had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Person takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Sores shoots in looking for a takedown. Person tries to sprawl out of it but Sores keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Person manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sores avoids a kick to the body.
Sores moves into the clinch.
A knee to the head by Person.
Person has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Person is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Sores keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Person's efforts to push away.
Person is trying to break free.
Person tries for a takedown but Sores manages to get underhooks.
Person escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Person cracks the inside of Sores's front leg.
Sores shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Person manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Person is looking to stand up but Sores isn't so interested in that idea.

Sores drops back looking for a leg! Person is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Person manages to kick Sores off! Sores jumps back into Person's guard.
Sores is breathing heavily.
Person utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sores would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Sores wants to control from the top but Person keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sores is looking to stand up but Person won't let him.

Sores drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Person manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sores has Person in his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Person throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Person trying to control the position from guard on top but Sores is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Person misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Person throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Person pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sores tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sores moves in looking to clinch but Person pushes him off.
Sores moves into the clinch successfully.
Person ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Person no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sores throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Person works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Person can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sores slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sores trying to control but Person is working from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Sores stands and steps away. Person gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Person has managed to clinch.
Person tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sores smiles and moves away.
Sores shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Person defends it nicely.
Good leg kick by Person there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Person thuds his shin into the meat of Sores's side.
Person clinches up against the cage.
Person breaks from the clinch.
Person misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Person.
Sores closes the distance and clinches up with Person, looking for a takedown. Sores pushes Person against the cage but Person circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sores takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Person shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sores as he avoids it easily.
Sores moves into the clinch.

Person jumps guard but Sores stands there with Person around his waist. Person gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Myron Sores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guy Person.

Person crunches a lovely knee into Sores's ribcage.

Guy Person seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sores shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Person goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sores shoots for a double leg takedown but Person sprawls well. He's pushed Sores's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Person tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Person throws a right and a left that Sores avoids nicely.

and Sores counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sores.
Sores loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Sores's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sores gets to his feet - Person follows without any prompting.
Sores shoots in but no luck this time.

and Sores counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sores is pressing down on Person's thigh, looking to free his foot. Person is holding on for now.

Person is refusing to be controlled, as Sores sits in half guard.
Sores drops an elbow to the side of Person's head.
Sores wants to control but Person is keeping him busy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sores throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Sores is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sores tries to clinch up but Person circles away and keeps his distance.

Person closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Person stalling in the clinch but Sores improves position.

Person lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Person has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sores avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Person unloads a knee to the mid-section. Sores lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Person pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Sores tries to score a power double leg takedown but Person sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sores somewhat.

Person tries to work over Sores's front leg with a kick but Sores checks it.
Person tries to land a front kick but Sores steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sores shoots for a takedown but Person saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sores explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Person throws a front kick that sends Sores stumbling back into the cage.
Sores moves into the clinch.
Person pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Person tries to bum rush Sores with a series of wild strikes but Sores uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sores forces Person back against the cage and clinches.
Sores drops down looking for an ankle pick but Person pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Myron Sores. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Person looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Sores pushes Person up against the cage in a clinch.
Sores misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sores stops a takedown attempt from Person.

Sores is trying to force a seperation but Person has the dominant position.
Person tries to break the clinch but Sores is controlling the position.
Person manages to break the clinch.
Sores throws a head kick but Person moves out of range.
No joy there for Person, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Person turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Person has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sores uses from the top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sores shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Person but Person pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sores wants to clinch up but Person keeps it at a distance.
Person avoids the body shot from Sores.
Person tries a head kick but it misses.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sores.
Sores lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Person down.
Sores advances to mount.
Sores has hold of Person's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Person manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that's the end of the fight!
Myron Sores showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sores, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
