Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stefan Leko Leko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Leko's choice of entrance music: In da club - 50 cent . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Micheal Bates! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Leko Leko! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bates has closed the distance and engaged Leko in a clinch.
Bates has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Leko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bates fails to pull guard.
Bates pulls guard successfully.
Bates is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Bates manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Leko manages to get himself to full guard.
Leko wants to control but Bates passes easily into half guard.
Bates not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bates tries to pass the half guard into mount. Leko knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bates content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bates's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bates has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Micheal Bates just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Bates throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leko was covering up waiting for the punch and Bates finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Leko will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bates pushing down on Leko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Bates performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micheal Bates dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Leko tries for a takedown but Bates circles away easily and Bates counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Leko's guard now. Leko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bates seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Leko wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bates manages to pass to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bates controlling the action here. Leko has a hand on Bates's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Bates takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bates controlling the pace for now. Leko has given up his back here. Will Bates look for the submission or keep pounding away?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bates lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Leko.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Leko is trying to break free.
Bates is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Leko holding both Bates 's hands and preventing any damage. Leko is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bates is working for a rear naked choke. Leko is not defending it well and Bates has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Leko refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Leko's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Micheal Bates!
