Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kiko Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiko Rogan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Enrique Rodrigo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kiko Rogan! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogan throws a series of punches but Rodrigo moves out of range. Rodrigo tries to clinch up. Rodrigo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rogan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rogan throws a hook but Rodrigo blocks it. Rodrigo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Rogan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rodrigo. Rogan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rodrigo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rogan as he avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodrigo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Rogan throws a jab when Rodrigo was well out of range. Rodrigo tries to clinch but Rogan moves out of range. Rogan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan misses with a hook. Rodrigo ducked under it nicely. Rodrigo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rogan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Rodrigo wants to pass the guard but Rogan is keeping the position. Rodrigo is pushing down on Rogan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rogan is fighting to maintain full guard but Rodrigo has managed to sneak the leg through. Rogan is refusing to be controlled, as Rodrigo sits in half guard. Rogan wants to get back to full guard. Rodrigo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rogan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rodrigo wants to take a breather but Rogan is having none of it. Rodrigo trying to advance position but Rogan counters by regaining guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogan is looking to stand up but Rodrigo isn't so interested in that idea. Rodrigo passes into half guard. Rodrigo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rogan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rogan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Rodrigo moves nicely into side control. Rodrigo wants to control but Rogan is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rodrigo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rogan has escaped the position, nice work there. Rodrigo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rodrigo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rogan regains half guard. Rogan gets back to full guard.
Rogan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rodrigo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rodrigo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rogan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rodrigo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rogan looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodrigo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rodrigo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Rogan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rodrigo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rodrigo sitting and controlling from the half guard. Rogan looks like he's trying to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kiko Rogan will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Rogan throws a right hand that Rodrigo ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodrigo also avoids with ease. Rogan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodrigo moves away. Rogan clobbers Rodrigo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rodrigo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rogan.
Rogan throws out a loose jab but Rodrigo uses good head movement to avoid it. Rogan misses with a wild combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogan lands with a nice combination. Rodrigo backs away looking to recover. Rodrigo has a takedown stuffed. Rogan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rodrigo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rodrigo tries to clinch but Rogan moves out of range. Rodrigo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Some wild striking there from Rogan.
Rogan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rogan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Rodrigo rather than just go for the knockout. Rogan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rodrigo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rogan. A left and a right from Rogan both land. Nice combination. Rodrigo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rodrigo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rogan can't escape the position.
Rogan is breathing heavily. Rogan is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Rodrigo has taken his back.
Rodrigo controlling the position well here. Rogan rolled but Rodrigo kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Rogan is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Rodrigo has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Rodrigo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here.
Rodrigo is trying to stick to Rogan's back but Rogan is turning into Rodrigo. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Rodrigo's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Rogan. Rogan stops Rodrigo from standing up. Rogan stands and steps away. Rodrigo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rogan scores with a hook. Rodrigo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rogan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Rogan getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Rogan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Rodrigo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rogan swivels and escapes. Rogan scores with a hook. Rogan misses with a wild body shot. Rogan closes the distance and lands a one-two. Left hook, right uppercut from Rogan. Rogan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rodrigo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rogan tries to avoid it but Rodrigo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rogan to the ground. Rogan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Enrique Rodrigo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rogan misses with a looping left. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kiko Rogan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Rogan forces his way into half guard. Rogan trying to mount his opponent but Rodrigo defends it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rogan passes the guard and advances to mount! Rogan tries to control but Rodrigo wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogan is looking to stand but Rogan has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Rogan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rodrigo is looking to escape. Rodrigo wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Enrique Rodrigo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kiko Rogan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rogan get's back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rogan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
And that's the end of the fight! Kiko Rogan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Rogan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
