Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Brophy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Tankov.
Tankov is looking to clinch.
Adis Tankov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tankov lands a big head kick that sends Brophy tumbling to the mat! Tankov takes a step backwards and waves Brophy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like John Brophy has been cut.
Tankov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tankov tries to bum rush Brophy with a series of wild strikes but Brophy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tankov throws a head kick but Brophy moves out of range.
Tankov throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tankov tries to close the distance and clinch but Brophy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brophy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tankov as he avoids it easily.

Tankov throws a leg kick which misses Brophy's front leg but catches the back leg as Brophy tries to avoid it.
Tankov with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brophy is breathing heavily.
Tankov is looking to clinch but Brophy is avoiding it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Tankov. No joy for Brophy on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Brophy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tankov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tankov circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Brophy drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Tankov follows Brophy to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
