Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Blanka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Herzog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blanka comes to the cage accompanied by Can't be Touched - Roy Jones Jr.. Herzog has chosen Struttin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Chris Herzog has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herzog closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Blanka did well to prevent Herzog getting side control.
Herzog seems to be working for a kimura but Blanka defends the submission attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Blanka tries to roll over but Herzog keeps him under control.
Herzog is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blanka is just riding it out for now. Herzog eventually gives up the hold.
Herzog is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Blanka doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Herzog.

Herzog goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Blanka escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Well Herzog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
