Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Pasco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franklin Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adrian Pasco! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franklin Faber! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pasco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Pasco stopping the sweep attempt from Faber. Pasco stops Faber from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faber trying to control the position here. Pasco would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Faber has control of Pasco's left arm, preventing Pasco from doing any damage. Pasco won't allow Faber to get back to his feet. Faber is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Faber is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Pasco trying to control the position from guard on top but Faber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Faber closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Pasco tries to get to full guard but Faber has control of the leg. Faber wants to work for an arm triangle but Pasco is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Faber looks gassed! Faber seems to be working for a kimura but Pasco defends the submission attempt. Faber trying to control from half guard but Pasco is working away. Pasco trying to hold on to Faber's head to control him but Faber postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pasco is trying to stand back up but Faber is controlling him
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pasco flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Pasco shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Pasco trying to control the position from guard on top but Faber is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Faber is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Faber lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pasco! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Faber content just to control the position here. Faber in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Faber controlling from mount. Pasco throwing hammer fists to the chest of Faber. What's that going to do exactly? Faber tries to control but Pasco wriggling away. Pasco is bucking up trying to escape but Faber cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Faber working away from the top, dropping strikes. Faber looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Faber sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Faber tries to control but Pasco wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Faber controlling from the full mount. Faber wants to take Pasco's back but he can't do it this time. Faber looking to control but Pasco is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Pasco tries to lock up and control but Faber gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pasco tries to reverse the position but Faber maintains control. Faber lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Pasco hang on? Faber stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Pasco misses with a takedown attempt - Faber sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franklin Faber dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Faber misses with a takedown attempt and Faber takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Pasco tries for a takedown but Faber circles away easily and Faber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pasco's guard. Pasco keeping moving, preventing Faber from controlling successfully. Pasco is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Faber wants to pass the guard but Pasco is keeping the position. Pasco wants to sweep but no luck. Faber advances position into side control! Faber has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Faber is looking to clinch. Faber drives through with a takedown into guard. Pasco being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faber gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Faber wants to clinch. Pasco doesn't succeed with the takedown and Faber counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Pasco kicks Faber off and gets back to his feet. Faber gets the takedown into side control. Pasco is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Faber asserts his dominance and retains side control. A lull in the action here as Faber stalls from top position. Pasco manages to get back to half guard. Faber content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pasco wants to control but Faber is keeping busy.
Pasco is looking to escape. Pasco misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Faber is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pasco pulls him back up using the underhooks. Pasco gets underhooks to prevent Faber's takedown attempt.
Pasco pulls guard effortlessly. Faber gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Faber tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Faber ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Pasco blocks the body kick.
Faber misses the shot to the body. Faber drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pasco struggling a bit here. Pasco manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Faber manages to escape and get back to his feet! Faber scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Pasco tries to improve position but can't. Faber working the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Faber stands up and beckons Pasco to his feet. Adrian Pasco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Faber throws and low kick but Pasco moves out of range easily. Faber tries to keep at a distance but Pasco has taken the fight into the clinch. Pasco breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pasco tries to close the distance and clinch but Faber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pasco with a lazy takedown attempt and Faber counters with a one-two to the body. Pasco lands a head kick. Faber smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Pasco tries to clinch but Faber is having none of it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pasco. Faber feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Faber preventing the sweep. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Faber looking to sit in guard and control but Pasco gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Faber utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Franklin Faber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Pasco bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Faber is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Faber is trying to control Pasco's posture but Pasco avoids it. Pasco looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Faber is avoiding damage well.
Franklin Faber has got the better of the ground game so far. Faber is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Pasco stands up and beckons Faber to his feet. Pasco misses with a takedown and Faber decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pasco's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Faber sitting in guard here, content to control. Faber scoring with punches to the head and body. Faber looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Faber stops Pasco from standing up. Pasco manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Pasco avoids the attempt from Faber to control. Pasco can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Faber is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pasco lands with some strikes. Pasco throws a strike there. Faber manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
Pasco trying to control from half guard but Faber is working away. Faber has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pasco is working away from the top position though. Pasco looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Pasco moves nicely into side control. Pasco decides to stand back up. Pasco steps back and let's Faber get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pasco has his takedown stuffed and Faber counters with a shoot takedown. Pasco fights it but they end up in guard. Faber seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pasco is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Faber is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Faber advances to half guard. Faber seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Faber has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Despite being in the dominant position, Franklin Faber just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Faber throws a sloppy head kick and Pasco counters with a shoot takedown. Faber fights it but they end up in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Faber is looking for a triangle but Pasco pushes his legs off easily.
Faber keeping moving, preventing Pasco from controlling successfully. Adrian Pasco has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pasco is looking to stand up but Faber won't let him.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Franklin Faber. I've got Faber winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
